    Thompson Relations in 1935

Thompson families and relations at Sterling, Colorado, 1935. IDs by Virginia Welton: left to right: Charles Griffin ("Uncle Charlie"), Gilbert Wayne Griffin holding Doris Shockley, ("Grandma") Nora Harclerode Thompson, Claude Thompson's daughter (with white collar) and his son in front of her. Behind the girl in the white collar is Virginia Turner (hair pulled back) and next to her is her sister, Velma Turner. Lee (Lillian) Turner is in front of Velma looking at a baby. The man in back is Earl Griffin and it's probably Ruth Turner in front and to the right of him (face obscured and holding her son, Richard). In front holding Grace's son, Paul, is May Thompson Griffin and next, in the far back, is Grace Griffin Shockley. The couple at the far right are Alice and Joseph Claude Thompson. The house in back was Robert Thompson's, bought for him by Floyd C. Turner, according to Virginia Welton.
