Artichoke Blossom
If an artichoke is left on the plant to go to flower it creates a large, beautiful, lavender color blossom. I spent some time photographing the blossoms on two plants in our back yard in September, 2008. It was fascinating to watch the changes over time. Here are my favorite shots from that.
